Hi Stamping Friends,
We made this cute birthday card at my last Coffee Talk night!
The stamp set is Make a Wish and the Designer Series Paper is Patio Party.
The card has a surprise inside!
This is how you make the pop-up part:
1. Start with a piece of 5-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ Whisper White card stock scored at 4 1/8″. Fold it in half.
2. Place the 5-1/4″ folded edge along the top of your paper cutter.
3. At 1/2″, cut down 7/8″.
4. At 1-1/4″ cut down to 1-1/2″
5. At 2-3/4″ cut down to 2″
6. At 4-1/2″ cut down to 2″. Use this picture as a guide.
7. Fold the panels back and use a bone folder to crease the paper.
8. When you open it up, this is what it should look like.
9. Decorate the inside with three pieces of Designer Series Paper. The sizes are 3/4″ x 1-3/4″, 1-1/2″ x 3″ and 1-3/4″ x 4″.
