I’m volunteering in my son’s class tomorrow and needed a quick card that the kids could make. I made the card with the white background first and decided it needed more color. The like the Old Olive version better. Which one do you like?
Real Red card stock (5-1/2″ x 8/1/2″)was used for both of the cards. It was scored at 4-1/4″. Snowflakes from the Christmas Punch stamp set were stamped on Whisper White card stock in Old Olive ink. The second card used Old Olive card stock with Always Artichoke Ink to create a background.
The snowman was stamped on Whisper White card stock in Real Red ink and punched out with the Tag punch. The snowman was colored in with Only Orange and Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write markers and attached to the card. A snowflake was punched out of Real Red card stock with the Jumbo Snowflake punch. I added an Old Olive 1/2″ circle or a button to the center of each snowflake.
The greeting is from Many Merry Messages and stamped on Old Olive or Kraft card stock in Chocolate Chip ink.
I hope the kids enjoy making the card tomorrow.
