Stampin’Up Super Easy Cupcake card!

Hi Stamping Friends,

I was using up scraps from my craft room and thought I would design a cute card that showcases the deals of the week.

What do you think of my card?

It’s cute but my idea backfired!!!

I started my card with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Pool Party Card Base.

I added some 2″ x 5-1/4″ Flashback Designer Series Paper to 4″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla card stock.  Very Vanilla Seam Binding was added to the card and attached at the back with sticky strip.

The greeting was stamped with Pool Party ink and is from the Fabulous Four stamp set.

I punched out the scallop from Pool Party ink and added the cupcake pieces with the cupcake punch.

This is where my card didn’t work.  The punch that’s on sale is the 7/8″ scallop circle punch not the 1-3/4″ scallop punch like I used. I went to grab a Real Red button from the Brights Designer Buttons since they are on sale and I’m all out! I have every color but red so I must have used them in a class. Imagine my card with a Real Red Button on it.

The good news is that I can order the Brights Designer Buttons for the sale price of 8.21 and I can order the 7/8″ scallop punch on sale too since mine is missing. The 1/2″ circle punch is on sale so I might as well order a spare circle punch.  On top of that, Blushing Bride Ribbon is on sale so I’ll get some of that for Valentine’s Day cards.  If you want these items too, my order will go out Friday night.

I hope you like the card. It’s a super easy design that anyone can make.

If you need to make Christmas cards, come to my stamp a stack this Sunday at 1:00.

Happy Stamping,
Karina
