I wanted to share an old technique with you today called Poppin’ Pastels. This was done with chalks that Stampin’Up used to sell and has brought in the form of a Soft Pastels assortment. If you love to color and try new techniques, then this product is perfect for you. You get 8 colors in the box for only $12.25 in bright gorgeous colors.
I used the retiring Delicate Petals stamp set and Lace Petals Dies on my card. These are products are available until June 30th or while supplies last. The dies are 50% off right now.
I stamped the flower image with versamark ink and applied color to the image and gently rubbed it with a sponge dauber. Isn’t that easy?
The back ground was created with the new Check and Dots embossing folder. Need an embossing machine? These dies work with the Mini Stampin’ cut and emboss machine.
