Christmas Tea Box!

Hi Stamping Friends,

Do you need a teacher gift or a gift for a friend?

These tea boxes would be perfect.  It holds 4 tea bags and a small bag filled with cookies.  You could also put gift cards instead of tea in your box.

This project was designed by Caroline Hallett who is a demo in the UK.

These are the basic instructions for my box and you need the Gift Box Punch Board to make this project #135863.

1. Start with a piece of 11″ x 11″ Kraft card stock #133674. It’s thicker than our regular card stock.
2. Follow the instructions on the Gift Box Punch Board to make a 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ x 4″ Box. The start line is at L and you punch and score and the Diagonal line is at XL and you score.
3. Decorate the Outside of the box with  four pieces of 3″ x 3-3/4″ Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper.
4. A stamp from the Cheerful Christmas stamp set was stamped with Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock and punched out with the 2-1/2″ circle punch and attached to the Designer Series Paper.
5. Cut four,  4″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White card stock to make the inside pocket pieces for the tea. Using your Simply scored tool with the short side at the top, score the sides and bottom of the pocket at 1/2″. Trim off the bottom corners.
Stamp on the pockets and attach to the inside of the box with Sticky Strip.
6. Stamp an inside greeting on 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ Whisper White card stock.
7. Add Nordic Noel Buttons and White Baker’s Twine to your project.
8. A tag was made with the Merry Everything stamp set and matching Note Tag Punch #137636. Stampin’ Up Real Red and Garden Green Markers were used to color the stamp.
9. Add Real Red 3/8″ Satin Woven Ribbon to the outside of your box.

These are really fun to make.

I hope you’ll try one.

Happy Stamping,
Karina
