Hi Everyone,
I’m still playing with the Bride Specialty paper and I’m loving the results.
I created a dress template with a piece of card board, the Circle scallop die and the Big Shot die cut machine. Taking a pencil, I drew a rough image of a dress and cut it out making a dress template. I used the Circle Scallop die and Big Shot die cut machine with the Bride specialty paper to cut a scallop circle shape. Then I traced the dress design and cut it out. I used a sponge dauber to sponge Pretty in Pink and Pale Plum classic ink onto the specialty paper and wiped away the excess ink with a tissue. Some Whisper White Taffeta ribbon was added to the dress. I colored the flower from the Pretties kit with a sponge dauber and Pale Plum classic ink. The pearl from the pretties kit was attached to the flower with a glue dot.
To create the background, I brayered Pale Plum ink on the inside of Stampin’Up’s Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. Whisper White card stock was placed inside the embossing folder and run through the Big Shot die cut machine. I love how the flowers stayed white and the background was colored purple! This was attached to a Pale Plum background.
The sentiment is from Stampin’Up’s Short and Sweet stamp set. “Wish Big” was stamped in Perfect Plum ink on Pale Plum card stock and punched out with the small oval punch.
I hope you love this card as much as I do.
Happy Stamping,
Karina
