Need a cute gift box in just a few minutes? Today I’m sharing one of my favourite quick projects—a no-glue gift box that’s fast to make, easy to decorate, and perfect for small treats, gift cards, party favours, or little surprises.
The best part? No adhesive is required! Just cardstock, a scoring tool, and a few simple folds are all you need to create this clever box.
For today’s project I used the Summer Happiness Bundle, one of my favourite Online Exclusives. This cheerful bundle is packed with playful summer images including layered suns, cherries, flowers, flip-flops, pineapples, and fun sentiments that instantly brighten any project. Whether you’re making cards, scrapbook pages, or 3D projects like today’s box, this bundle adds the perfect touch of summertime fun.
The box is 6-3/4″ x 8-3/4″. Score the long side at 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″. Turn a 1/4 of a turn. Score the short side at 3/4″, 2-1/2″, 4-1/4″ and 6″. Cut the 4 scored lines on the long side up to the 2nd score line as shown in the diagram. Cut away the shaded areas. Make sure to leave your tabs. I cut mine to 3/4″.
