Eclipse Technique Card with NEW 2026–2028 In Colors + Stampin’Up Fern & Flora Bundle

If you love creating cards that look detailed and impressive—but are actually simple to make—you are going to fall in love with today’s project! 💕

I’m sharing a beautiful Eclipse Technique card featuring the NEW 2026–2028 In Colors and the elegant Fern & Flora Stamp Set & Dies (available starting May 5th). This technique creates a raised, dimensional effect that instantly elevates your handmade cards—and it’s easier than it looks!

✨ What is the Eclipse Technique?

The Eclipse Technique is a fun way to add dimension to your card by cutting out letters or shapes from your card front and popping them up with dimensionals. The result? A subtle but stunning “peek-through” effect that gives your card that WOW factor.

It’s perfect for:

  • Thank you cards
  • Birthday cards
  • Thinking of you cards
  • Elegant, nature-inspired designs

🌸 About the Fern & Flora Bundle

Transform your paper crafts with the dreamy look of night-blooming florals and delicate ferns. The Fern & Flora Bundle combines elegant imagery with heartfelt sentiments—perfect for creating meaningful cards.

Bundle Details:

  • 12 photopolymer stamps
  • 14 coordinating dies
  • Largest die: 2″ x 3-3/8″
  • Use with Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
  • Save 10% when you purchase the bundle

The coordinating dies make it easy to add layers and dimension, while the stamps create soft, detailed backgrounds that pair beautifully with the Eclipse Technique.

🎨 Why You’ll Love the NEW 2026–2028 In Colors

These fresh, on-trend colours are perfect for adding a modern touch to your handmade cards. Whether you go bold or soft, these colours blend beautifully with the natural elements in the Fern & Flora designs.

✂️ How to Make This Card (Simple Steps)

  1. Cut 2 pieces of card stock 3-3/4″ x 5″
  2. Cut 1 piece of card stock into 1/2″ strips
  3. Place your card stock in the Fern & Flora embossing folder and emboss with a die cutting machine
  4. Attach these strips to the 2nd piece of card stock by attaching the first and last strips to the edges of the card stock
  5. Attach the next strips using 4 mini stampin’ Dimensionals. The next strips are glued down to the card stock.
  6. Repeat until all the strips are used.
  7. Attach to Basic White card stock and then a card base
  8. Add embellishments for a finishing touch

💡 Tip: Try using tone-on-tone stamping with the new In Colors for a soft, elegant look!
