Whale of a Time Pleated Element for a Gatefold Card!

Hello Friends, I wanted to share a fun and easy way to use up designer series paper by creating a fun pleated element for your card. I used my element on a Gate Fold Card and pulled in the Stampin’Up Whale of a Time stamp set and coordinating punch. Isn’t the Designer Series paper gorgeous? It’s from the new Waves of the Ocean collection that will be available March 1st. If you can’t wait, pick up the starter kit for $135 and add it to your starter kit. You get to choose $165 in product and two free stamp sets of your choice until Feb 28th. You can join here!

Waves of the Ocean Collection

To make the pleated element, start with a piece of 3″ x 10″ designer series paper and score at 1″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″, 3″, 4″, 4-1/2″, 5-1/2″, 6″, 7″, 7-1/2″, 8-1/2″, 9″. Start with a mountain fold, then a valley fold and repeat this pattern until the whole length of DSP is folded.
